ABOUT OUR CULTURAL CENTRE
The cultural center of the Hippocrates garden was created by Giouli zafeiratou in 2008 with the European Union co-financing tool program leader.
Giouli Zafeiratou studied Childhood and chidren nursery at the Andreas Syngros School in 1997 while she also attended photography courses of Plato Rivellis from years 1998 to 1999. In 2001 she traveled to Zimbabwe where she stayed for 1 month in south jungle. There she came into contact with the natives and decided to fund the family of Anne Makompe,who s husband died six months later.Anna Makompe s two children are studying and their funds are sponsored by the Garden.

In 2002 she walked the desert of Sinai for a month where she learned about the culture of the Bedouin, but also lived the experience of the difficulties that people have in the desert. Contacted Egyptian artists created a bridge between them and Greece. 2003 to 2007 created a family of standard agrotourism hotel Seagullsbay which activates rural tourism and environmental protection. Kos attended a seminar environmental way through it started tours of the region and raise awareness of Mastichari visitors in need of protection of nature and culture.
In 2008 she created the cultural center of the Garden of Hippocrates sap dealing with the emergence of ancient Greek culture and environmental protection. Featuring our philosophical roots creates programs in schools of the island and art workshops. In 2008 traveled to Mexico and Guatemala where he was consulting with the university philosophy of Puebla city for hospitality students at the cultural center.
The 2009 average of the center tree planting programs to children 250-400 trees and recycled at the initiative of the garden a tone materials. In 2010 created the film Gaia which will be shown at international film festivals green to be held in Rhodes in June 2010.Last big trip was to Costa Rica one of the last paradises of our land. There he came into contact with locals and people from around the world are struggling to keep this planet alive for their childrens future. He currently teaches philosophy at the school but also to anyone interested in fostering a spirit, always based on universal values across national stereotypes and prejudices.
The land belongs to the children and our culture is now to be universal. "The ground is a living entity, the mother of us all and they said a long time our brothers the Indians, the land is not inherited from our ancestors, but borrowed from our children.
