TREE PLANTING ACTIVITIES BY SCHOOLS OF KOS ISLAND!

The pupils of schools of Kos have successfully planted trees in our garden. 230 trees, cypresses and acacias has been offered by Forest Police of Kos. We would also like to thank the children who helped in recycling program and during the period of 20 days they managed to gather 300 pounds of recyclable materials which has been transferred by our Center to the recycling points of the municipality of Kos. The children, were awarded for their participation to social work.


We would specially like to thank Mr.Sekara and all the school teachers. Our programs will continue throughout the school year and before the end a photo exhibition will be held as well as symposiums for teachers and cultural events for students.

Last but not least our special thanks to the Environmental groups of : 1st Gymnasium of Kos, Class A1 & A2 Gymnasium of Antimachia, Class C1, C2, E1, E2 School of Antimachia, Class VI of Scholl of Pyli and Class B1 & B2 of Antimachia s Lyceum.

Finally we would like to thank all the children of schools for their participation in Tree Planting Programme 2010.
